Album Art Synch Problem

Is there some way to automatically resize album art tags when synching tracks to a device? I ask because I am having trouble viewing art on my PSP. Almost every song in my library has artwork embedded in the id3 tag but I cant get the artwork for certain files to show up on the PSP. I think I've narrowed the problem down to the size of the images. Images that are too large wont show up on the psp.

Is there a script or method that will automatically resize my album art to a smaller size when I sync it to my PSP?
