Cannnot Synchronize Playlists Since MM 4.03 Upgrade

I have having this same issue. I can no longer sync any playlist, and cannot even sync an individual podcast. I'm ready to ditch this program and use something else.

I am having the same issue. I have a Sansa Fuze and I can mostly workaround the issue. I noticed that the m3u format generated seems to have unix end of line characters (even though I have the "Use unix paths" unchecked, I would assume this applies to end-of-line characters as well). If I sync and then copy the m3u from my device back onto my computer and replace the unix end-of-line characters (Ultraedit or any other good text editor will have a tool for this) with Windows end-of-line characters and then copy the m3u back to the Sansa the playlists are recognized and work fine. However, this is a bug that needs to be fixed.

Why are the differences in end lines between windows and unix?

This is what I see when I open up an m3u file that I have copied from the sansa to my computer and opened with notepad:

How would I change this to be read? Where is the Unix end character line?

I just downloaded Ultraedit but cannot see how I would change an end of line character. Where on the menu do you do this?

Just an FYI for the devs.......I'm having the same problem with my Cowon J3. I've tried some of the work arounds listed but haven't had any luck.

I am having the same issue with my Sandisk sansa clip+ in MTP mode.

The Bug tracker indicates it will be using PLA for MPT devices and M3U for Android as well as reading what format the device supports and using the supported format.

If I'm not mistaken I believe this got fixed...........if so when are we going to see 4.04?

Yes, this should be fixed for 4.0.4. As it will include other fixes too it may take a while and will most likely be made available as beta first in the Beta forum. Subscribing to viewtopic.php?f=6&t=54426 should keep you informed when the first beta is made available.
