MM doesn't register the song in my Android Phone

Hi,

Found that MediaMonkey doesn't register the song in my Android Phone (Galaxy Nexus) that has been previous copied by file copy.

The song that has been sync by MediaMonkey works fine.

Please advise.

The song will simply appear as "Unknown". Please advise.

Are those previously copied files tagged?

They were ripped using dBpoweramp and properly tagged.

In that case I guess MM browses the device not by actual tags but via some kind of database on the device. Presumably when you manually copy those tracks to the device, the tag info is missing because there are no database entries for those tracks as they were not copied via MM.
