I am using MM 4.0.6 and a Samsung Galaxy IIS ("Epic Touch").
The Galaxy was recently updated to Samsung's version of Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.4, which removed the Mass Storage mode and insists on synching through Media Transfer Protocol (MTP). I got the file transfer to work with just a little futzing around, but I *cannot* get MM to write m3u playlists to the phone. It insists on creating PLA playlists instead.
I don't use the default player. I use MortPlayer, Audiobook version, which does not read PLA playlists.
Is there any way to get MM to write m3us like it did 2 weeks ago?
(I use because most of the sound files I listen to are >15 minutes long--recorded radio shows, both music and spoken word--and I switch back and forth between a music playlist and a spoken word playlist frequently during the day. Mortplayer is the only Android player I've found that automatically holds my place in a long audio file whenever I switch to a different file. If anyone can suggest a replacement player that *does* read PLA playlists, I'll give that a try.)
