Samsung Galaxy S6 not recognized by MMW
When I connect my S6 to my computer and open up MMW, it is not picked up as a device. It does show up in Window's file explorer but not on the media tree of MMW. My other devices (USB drives) show up just fine. Not my phone. Is it possible?

Maybe it's disabled under Tools > Options > Portable Device Sync? If not which version of MediaMonkey and is it connected as MTP device?

Version 4.1.8.1751
It doesn't show up on the media tree at all. Shows up in Window's file explorer when connected with USB. Connected as MTP? It doesn't look like MMW sees it at all

That's not where I told you to look. The Media Tree is dependent on your settings under Tools > Options > Portable Device Sync. If a device is disable there it will never show in the Media Tree.
MTP is something you set on the device for the USB connection. There is a camera mode which will not allow MediaMonkey to see it, but MTP mode will.

I did go to Portable Device Sync. All the devices are enabled(checked). There are 4 plugin types. WMDM.dll, ipod.dll, iriverh.dll and iPhone.dll. There are more devices listed than unique plugins, most use the WMDM.dll, I guess these are devices that use the same plugin. I don't see MTP.

All fixed now. For whatever reason, windows file explorer "saw" the phone but not the directories. I left it connected and eventually, all the directories showed up and then the phone showed up on MMW. All works well now. Thanks
