New iPod Nano 7th Gen not accepting music from MM Library

When I transfer music from my library in MM it shows as transferred. I can view that music under the device within MM. As soon as I disconnect my new Nano and hit music it shows no music files present. Then if I plug it back in they still show as on the device. If i transfer the same files from my iTunes Library they will show up on the device when I disconnect.

This is my first new ipod in a while. I am using the most up to date version of iTunes and MM on my Win7 pro laptop.

Any thoughts or help is appreciated.
