Can someone help an old man :)

Post by philem »

Hi guys,
I have tried the search option but didn't have much luck.

Could someone teach me in simple language how I can add audio-books to my iPod while keeping them in their respective folders please?

Let me explain, I am a big fan of Clive Cussler and have a few of his books in audio-book format. He writes about 3 or 4 differant heroes so I have the "books" in folders named by the hero on my PC, what I want to do is:
for example the folder Sacred Stone (a Oregon File) has all the audio files of that story as well as a couple of others books from the Oregon Files.

There also is a folder with Dirk Pitt stories also in their respective folders.

How can I put a playlist on my iPod eg Oregon Files, then put in the "Sacred Stone" folder with all the audio files in it, then make a Dirk Pitt playlist and put the folders of the titles in that playlist etc,

Hope this makes sense, and thanks in advance for any and all help

ps I have MediaMonkey Gold on windows 8.1

You can't change how files are stored on Apple products so you'll need to make sure your tags have the required information. For example you'll want Album to have the "folder" book information.
