My library is significantly larger than the space available on my phone. What I would like to do is select specific playlists or audiobooks from the "Auto-Sync (-->Device) menu and have them loaded to my phone. If these selections change, I would like MediaMonkey to automatically load the new selections to my phone and remove the items that are no longer selected.
I have checked "Delete other files and playlists from the device:" with "Unselected Library files" chosen. The new items get pushed to my phone. However, the ones that are no longer selected are not removed. I have also tried with "All Other Media Files" selected. This only gives me the option to remove a video that I put in the folder on my phone for testing. I don't have the option to remove the "extra" items that are no longer selected.
Are these expectations correct or am I missing something?
- "Unselected Library files" would keep the phone mirrored to the selections in MediaMonkey.
- "All other Media Files" would remove anything that isn't in my MediaMonkey library.
