iPod Classic not playing sequential audiobook tracks

When I use audiobooks with on my Ipod it will only play one track. I cant just skip to the next track. I have to hit the menu button and select the next track. I have different audiobooks in different playlist to split them apart, due to the fact the audiobook file on the Ipod will just alphabetize and scramble them all together. why wont the tracks play through like any other playlist? what can I do to make it work?

I am using the latest v4 build of MM to copy audiobooks to my iPod. This is the first time this problem has happened.
