Hello,
What language is MM written in? And are there any parts that are Open Source?
Here is my thoughts. I wish to synchronize my library between my Desktop and Laptop. File location is a mute point because the Laptop has to service the files from the NAS box while the Desktop services the files from its own drives. I only wish to synchronize such things as ID tags and Rating stars. The rest of the data can be handled by MM itself and the Filesync program I use to keep the NAS box up to date.
I can work on coding it myself, it'll be good practice, but I would like permission before I go mucking about.
Thanks,
MN

MediaMonkey for Windows is written in mostly Delphi and C, and is entirely proprietary

Re: Meta Data Sync
If you're syncing the files you can just rescan as most tags are saved in the files: http://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/index.p ... erties/4.0
