I am using Magic Nodes, but I might give this a try.

Thanks...

Just tried adding this in MM 2.5. I'm no script expert, so may be doing something silly, but I have following problems:

#1 It showed all my 5,500 tracks, not just 100. I used F2 to change the name to Last 50, with no apparent change in result. Then I tried Last 1 and correctly got just 1. Encouraged, I tried 10, and that was correct too. Then I tried 20, but that reverted to the original appearance, with all 5,500 listed. Trial/error revealed that any number greater than 12 displays the entire database.

#2 It does show the last few I played in full this morning. But can't it show partially played tracks too? I played a couple for 5-10 secs each and opened the node again, but they weren't there.

#3 Only the first 12 tracks have an entry under 'Last Played' (7 'Today', 3 'Yesterday', and 2 with actual date/times). All the others are blank in that column. Presumably this is a clue to the behaviour in #1 above? I'm guessing it's somehow due to my recent problems leading to a re-install on 9/9/08 - although I don't see why my db should have lost the 'last played' date; all the tags seem intact. Anyway, I'm further guessing it will gradually sort itself out as I play more tracks? That would be fine - apart from the apparent inability to recognise partial playing, a major downside for me!

Hi terrypin,

1) The development/bug-fixing of the 2.5 version of script has stopped. However, if I get time, Ill have a look.

2) This is a limitation of MM. It doesn't keep track on partially played track only fully played.

3) Seems to be some issues with your database. You can use this script to manually try to fix the issue:

Initially @Bex but it could be useful for others.

In new MM beta there will be improved handling of onTrackEnd Event where scripter would be able to easily detect what happened with track during playback, it will also enable few more scripting possibilities.

Sounds interesting! :)
I will of course update this script so it consider any changes made to the MM core!
