I came up with a solution for ID3 tags of Mp3 files like this. You just need to hover your mouse on the song name to see the ID3 tag info of that mp3 file.I hope it is fine. But i m afraid thr may be bugs still present in it.See the screenshot below.

Wow, jitun, that works surprisingly well. Do you have any intentions of adding album art as well? Maybe implementing it the same way WebMonkey does with a specific Image folder. Thanks for all the hard work.

Strip "(<Genre#:1-255>)" as it represents ID3v1.1 tag info.

I added album art support.See the pic below.Thr should be an image file with any name but preferably folder.xxx.If a file name folder.xxx(xxx=jpg, gif, bmp, png) is found it will take it as the default album art for that album.if the image file has a name other than folder.xxx it doesnt make any difference.it will just take any of the image files as album art.(here i m searching for the file folder.xxx as some players take it as default album art.).

The album art is shown as a floating window(means it floats to keep it position on screen as before if you scroll.) on the right side of the screen.the actual album art is resized to 200 px keeping the aspect ratio constant.

Do you plan to work together with Lowlander? He already has a nice MM web interface, and your additions (like Song Properties dialog) and certainly the plugin web server would make a great combination.
Extensions: ExternalTools, ExtractFields, SongPreviewer, LinkedTracks, CleanImport, and some other scripts (Need Help with Addons > List of All Scripts).

Here is a new version.I rewrote the GetArgValue function of the original parameter as it was parsing some files incorrectly.Still need some bug fixes.A major bug is the 3 frames mode is not working properly and the load directory is not working at all.(i should sleep now it is 2:55 AM Now Here.Even too much of C++ is injurious to health  )

However Here is the new version.

Code: Select all

http://rapidshare.com/files/12913481/Plugins.zip
And Steegy please give any link to Lowlander's web interface.I will like to see his work and if we can together make a nice web interface then that will be a good news.thanks for the advice.

Here's a link to Lowlander's project: WebMonkey
And the latest forum thread: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12426

There exists an other project like this: MediaMonkey Web Edition by TheRocket
Extensions: ExternalTools, ExtractFields, SongPreviewer, LinkedTracks, CleanImport, and some other scripts (Need Help with Addons > List of All Scripts).

Advanced Duplicate Find & Fix Find More From Same - Custom Search. | Transfer PlayStat & Copy-Paste Tags/AlbumArt between any tracks.
Tagging Inconsistencies Do you think you have your tags in order? Think again...
Play History & Stats Node Like having your Last-FM account stored locally, but more advanced.
Case & Leading Zero Fixer Works on filenames too!

For anyone wondering: In my previous post, I originally asked what the name was of the project similar to Lowlander's.
After I found the name/link myself, I edited my post, but apparently Bex (always very helpful :) ) was already typing his answer.
Extensions: ExternalTools, ExtractFields, SongPreviewer, LinkedTracks, CleanImport, and some other scripts (Need Help with Addons > List of All Scripts).

you should setup a google web page for your plugin/download... easier/better than rapidshare.
