An MM3 installation package is now available for this script. However, new MM3 fields are not currently included, sorry.

Hi, Great script!

However, when I make a html page the columns get way too narrow. They seem to expand to collectively be 100% of the screen width, but I would prefer being able to enter fixed column values even though it means scrolling sideways to see all fields. It just isn't very usable for me when a cell spans five or six rows as is often the case for me.

1) Can I specify a fixed widths for each column respectively somehow (varying widths, not the same for all columns)? Of course I could just edit the table properties in Dreamweaver directly but practically that is not an option because Dreamweaver crashes everytime I try to load the report because it is so huge.

2) Also, when the Year field is empty a zero is displayed in the report. Could one not just have it empty?

Thanks.

While his is an awesome script, I do agree with guermantes on the first suggestion.

Hello trixmoto,

I don't know why but Custom Report 1.3 seems not to work here?

I've used your installer and the script is listed under "extensions"
in MM3 RC-2 Gold ("just list albums").
But I can't find any button or menu to trigger this script.

Could you please explain how to use it?
Thank you very much!

Debby:

You can go to File --> create reports --> custom report in order to set parameters and run report.

This is very strange. Can you please open the file "MediaMonkey\MediaMonkey.ini" and find the [CustomReport] section and tell me all the listed values?

Post by tom sawyer »

really like the custom report script, but am having a hard time figureing out how to create a column that lists the "playlist sequence number" not the "track number"

hope it is just something I am not finding, or something easy to generate

thanks

No, the playlist order is not stored in the track data, as obviously a track could be in multiple playlists in different orders, so this script can't access that information.

Comments, filename and file path

Post by VPSean »

Hey Everyone,

Is there a way to make this report in such a way that it exports to excel and lists not only the track title, artist, album and genre, but the date, file name, file path AND comments as well?

The script stuff is a little over my head so it's all Greek to me as I look through it.

Thanks so much!

The only thing I don't think this script can do (that you want) is filename, as there is not a separate property for this.

Hi!
I want to create a custom report once a week.
Is it possible to get this script to run at a predefined time? Eks: every sunday at noon.
I also use the script Plsy History & Stats, and want to get a report of top 10 played songs last weekend :)
Regards
