Tiny thing:

"Replace underlines with spaces in <Into Field>..." should be

"Replace underscores with spaces in <Into Field>..."

Not that it's possible to have underlines anyway, so it really doesn't matter but there you go!

Aren't presets 11 and 12 the same?

According to wikipedia: "An underline, also called an underscore...". The Character Map displays that character as "Low Line".

No, they are not. The fist preset is with the adjustable field and the second one is with the hard-coded Comment field. There are many other similar pairs of presests. The main reason why I have kept hard-coded variants after introducing <From Field> and <Into Field> tags is to show how some preset could be made with adjustable field. They are also differently displayed when accessing preset from the Tags Manipulation Presets menu.

From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Underscore : "The underscore [ _ ] (also called understrike, low line, or low dash)..."

You are a younger one, aren't you? You see, I remember that a long time ago when I used mechanical typewriter there was a key with exactly that character which was used to underline the text. Many names in the computer terminology that are still in usage dates from the old and forgotten devices, for example Carriage Return and Line Feed used on a typewriters are characters that represent the new line in text even today.

Don't worry, I will rename that preset for the next update ;) Thanks for the suggestion, don't hesitate to correct me anytime. I am aware that my English is not very well.

I can't seem to get the toolbar shortcut for this script to disappear. I went into options and unchecked everything, but to no avail.

It works fine for me and nobody else reported such problem.

I'm not in front of MediaMonkey right now but from memory...

When you uncheck the 'show toolbar icon' box, or change anything you want to save in an existing preset, you then need to click on "Update" before you exit.

Have you tried that?

I suppose he is talking about the options from the Options dialog box. If you uncheck the "Show toolbar buttons for presets with enabled button in Find & Replace dialog box", you would get removed all toolbar buttons of presets, not matter if you have checked the "Toolbar button" option from RegExp dialog box for specific preset(s).

By the way, the latest version of the add-on has placed all RegExp buttons on the new independent toolbar (no more Search toolbar) which could be showed/hidden using MM command from the View menu or toolbar context menu. However, you need MM 4.0.0.1378 or higher for this.

Issue seems to be gone now. What I meant was that I had unchecked the Toolbar 'RegExp' thing, as well as all the options for toolbar buttons, but it still kept appearing every time I restarted the program. Using the latest build of MM4 btw.

Sorry lady! I am glad you resolved that. I am just wondering, did you regularly close the program after changing those options or is it crashed or forced to close with Task Manager?

I have been searching several hours now to figure out why the download link is not working for but I give up. When I click on the link http://solair.eunet.rs/~zvezdand/RegExpReplace.htm I get the 'Cannot open webpage' link. I was able to download this with no problem before so I'm not sure what the issue is. I just installed IE 9 so it could be a security issue but I can't figure it out. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I'm also unable to open the link.

//LATER//

JUST GOT IN WITH THE PRIOR LINK BY LEAVING THE FINAL "L" OFF.

What a blessing the script is when you need it!
