Looks good to me, but sometimes "filter" doesn't work. What error do you get?

If you use custom1 this might work better:

Code: Select all

Mixtapes|SQL filter:custom1='Y'|icon:top level\<genre>
Advanced Duplicate Find & Fix Find More From Same - Custom Search. | Transfer PlayStat & Copy-Paste Tags/AlbumArt between any tracks.
Tagging Inconsistencies Do you think you have your tags in order? Think again...
Play History & Stats Node Like having your Last-FM account stored locally, but more advanced.
Case & Leading Zero Fixer Works on filenames too!

Thank you, that works perfectly. The error I was getting was "problem querying the database . . . Too few parameters. Expected 1."

The order (under the MN node) is determined by the Mask# in the ini file.

To change the order - Open Mediamonkey.ini from ..\My Music\MediaMonkey

Find the heading [CustomNodeMasks]

Change the Mask numbers to sort the nodes the way you want them displayed, eg Mask7= would become Mask6= and the previous 6 is changed to 7.

I've noticed that, as magic nodes are added and deleted, the ini entries get a little messy. The only way to tidy them (that I know of) is manually, as described above. Would be handy if the script could auto re-sort the entries. Beyond my compass, though.

Hope that helps.
Hmm, my MediaMonkey.ini in C:\Program Files\MediaMonkey doesn't contain such a heading (actually the file only containts two lines), what's wrong?

Get Magic Nodes to fold

Post by arcspin » Fri Dec 22, 2006 4:12 pm

Hi,
Wounderfull this Magicnode script it is *smile*

Is it possible to have Magic Node to start folded.
I have all my "daily" nodes in child of: so I don't really need to see all nodes right from the start.
(I'm sure the answer is somewhere in the thread but I did search roughly 10 pages without any luck...)

Merry Christmas to you all

Hi folks, new MM user here. I've searched every page of this thread but can't find the problem I'm having. I've loaded the Magicnodes.1.3b.vbs file into the Scripts/Auto folder but when I then open MM I get an error notice that reads....

Error#9 - Microsoft VBScript error
Subscript out of range: '[number: 0]'
File: ''C:\Program Files\MediaMonkey\Scripts\Auto\MagicNodes.1.3b.vbs'', Line: 1049, Column: 4

I click OK and it is followed by....

Error happened during script execution:
Subscript out of range: '[number: 0]'

MagicNodes does then show up in the Tree and the Edit Menu but if I select 'Create Magicnode' and enter a mask I get the same error message, twice, followed by....

Error#424 - Microsoft VBScript runtime error
Object required: 'SDB.Objects(...)'
File: ''C:\Program Files\MediaMonkey\Scripts\Auto\MagicNodes.1.3b.vbs'', Line: 948, column: 1

with...

Error happened during script execution:
Object required: 'SDB.Objects(...)'

I'd love to get this script working so any help would be great.

Thanks.....Rich

Nodes display

Post by RedX » Wed Dec 27, 2006 10:45 am

I was wondering if there is a way of showing how many child nodes a node got?
Like in the ALL(number of nodes in there)node.

And can one display Artist\<artist> - <title> in a node? It doesn't seem to work for me and i did not find any example that makes use of this.
Is it to be implemented or am i missing something?

Regards
Red

Sorry folks, missed the follow up on this.

I have no idea what the problem was I'm afraid. I just removed and reinstalled the MagicNodes script and it worked fine.

Great help I am I know

Anyone have a magic nodes code for albums which contain files of differing types?

Ie: an album which contains both flac and mp3 files..
