Hi,
"Last.fm handshake bad system clock time" meanst that you rsystem clock is ahead of Last.FM and it cancels submission of playback of future tracks.

Check Timezone and system time, sync if needed. also clear log and cached files with bad times.

Another case would be that you have cached tracks with overlapping playback times which Last.fm rejects.

This information is 7 years out of date. Trying to scrobble from my mediamonkey with no luck.

Hi all,

have one question regarding this plugin:
once playing track form MMW - everything is scrobbling fine.
But after synchronizing iPhone plays are not provided to LastFM. As iPhone is main source of increasing playcounts for the tracks this is a bit annoying (playcounts for tracks at MMW are increased after synchronization)

Could someone advise how to fix this ?

wicked :(
Official LastFM plugin allows to do this (with iTunes)
will wait for fix...

Currently LastFM app for iPhone seems like to work fine (with only point: it should be running in background)

Hi,
Do not count on official plugins as they are excluded they shift Player IDs to trick their databases and third party apps are not allowed to do that.

Hi,
I know, maybe finally I'll make time (I fooling myself with that always) and make full implementation on send/receive playing status plugin for online presentation and framework to create additional plugins like for Facebook, ...

Peke,

I was using LastFM as a recommendation tool...

Firstly they totally re-branded themselves so site became totally unusable and uninformative...
later they ignored some major update of players, i.e. complete moving of iTunes to x64 architecture
............
now this marvelous limitation for third-party plugin writers

Hate to cross post, but it's been over a week with no response. Anybody have any suggestions? Reinstall MM? Reinstall scrobbler again? Thanks!
loubat wrote:Well, it stopped scrobbling again. Not sure for how long, maybe a couple weeks? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but this time it didn't fix it. Last.fm is ok, still scrobbling from other sources (Sonos, Spotify). Is there any log created for the scrobbler?

Under Options > Last.fm Service it says "Service status: Failed (cached Track)". I started with "Tracks scrobbled 0/0, Now Playing Shared 0/0, Tracks cached 150." Up to 152 now. I'm going to hit "clean cache" and see if that helps at all... Nope, still says 152 cached.

Running Windows 10, [strike]MM 4.1.10.1778[strike], make that MM 4.1.14.1813. Thought the MM update might help. No dice. :(

I've confirmed that my girlfriend's scrobble IS working on MM version 4.1.1.1700, and that mine is NOT working on version 4.1.13.1801.

I'm a bit confused by the silence over this. There should be no reason it just "doesn't work." There has to be a reason that's debuggable and fixable. Can we get a new update that's not from three whole years ago?
