I just found version 2 of this script, not sure how I missed before, and I really like it. It is too bad kr isn't going to keep this updated, but how much more can be done?

One dumb question related to the use of 10 panels. What would be the reason for having more than one? Obviously, kr felt the need was there and some of you are using more than one, I would be interested in what the other panels are used for.

im new to this program and a friend installed MonkeyRok, which seems to have replaced the spot for Now Playing, and said I should SI to replace it and show some more info.

As great as SI is, and it is awesome, it doesn't have the ability to show whats about to be played or not...right? Really sorry if I'm being a complete tool - if I should be doing it another way, would be grateful if someone could point me in the right direction!

In SI panel's options you can set it to show information about the current playing track, or the selected track:

[X] Show information from now playing.

perhaps I wasn't too clear, I've figured out how to display the current song / selected song, however is there a way to display the whole list of Now Playing?

Not in SI. It's only one track at a time.

The now playing list or node will show what is queued to be played.

This is possible for Lyrics and Comment Viewer, on which Song Information Panel is partly based, by editing the theme's .css file: see http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=22624&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&start=135. Perhaps something similar can be implemented for Song Information Panel, or even better, perhaps font size options could be included in the Information Panel settings.

I didn't read trough the whole 7 pages but is it possible to hide this panel on startup?

Is there a way to show 'Producer' in the Song Information Panel. I use the 'Producer' to indicate who produced each album/track and would like this to show up in the Song Information Panel, do know if it can be done, I have looked everywhere. I can't seem to connect the 'Producer' node to the Song Information Panel, I know thee isn't a checkbox for it in the script. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can't find producer in track information. Where is the information stored? If it is stored in the database then the information can be shownd in Song Information Panel.
