Hi there, been testing the x64 1.3 version for a few days, still have the memory leak issue though, again only once I start playing music in mediamonkey, the other times when using the laptop without running mediamonkey there has been no memory leak from the plugin. This version has a problem with the metadata too, it displays artist and title no problem but won't advance the time, it stays at 00:00 while the track plays. And it still crashes occasionally when exiting mediamonkey! It's still a good plugin, have reverted to 1.2b for the time being.

What version of the logitech manager are you using? It might be driver related, it seems the LCDs on dell laptops have always had driver issues. Do scrolling titles, the progress bar, and the blinking play button when paused still work? I process all three of those + time at once before sending them off to the API.

As for the crashing, does it give an error or is it just one of the generic win 7 program has stopped responding?

Hi,

Using Logitech LCD Manager 3.06.109, which seems to be the up to date version. The scrolling titles, progress bar and blinking play button seem to all work ok, it's just not advancing the time at all. It is just a generic crash (program not responding) win 7 error - this happens when exiting mediamonkey, it's fine while running the program. All other drivers on my system are up to date.

Cheers!

They don't have newer versions that work on it? All the keyboards are on 8.30.86.

I'll get a clean VM later and see if I can get it to crash on there.

I just installed the latest 64-bit version 2 days ago and after listening to music for several hours, I left the PC on while I went to bed. The next morning the process for MM G15 was using 6.5 GB of RAM on a system that has only 8GB total. I'm thinking the memory issues aren't fixed, quite yet.

Ok, I'm getting it on another machine, so I'll track it down. I'll post an update once it's fixed.

edit: Uploaded a new version, it should be fixed now. Sorry it took so long.

I still couldn't duplicate the crashing or the timer not working.

edit 2: if anyone else is getting the font changing size after a while, i'm going to look into it tomorrow. it only seems to happen when mediamonkey is hidden to the system tray.

I recently got a G510 keyboard and out of the box the logitech media display picked up media monkey, but would only display the artist field and track progression. I tried using the x64 plugin which did nothing, although a quik check of task manager showed it running. Any thoughts?

Does it show anything on the screen? You might have it disabled in the logitech software which can leave it running but it won't display. It's not the same as the media display that comes with the keyboard, that uses the winamp interface and doesn't work correctly with MM, and doesn't have any way to configure it as far as I know.

Since the 4.0.7.1511 update the plug in does not work anymore. I already tried to reinstall it, but without success.

Any chance that this will be updated to work with the newest drivers/software? :D

What versions? I'm running 4.0.7.1511/8.35.18 and it's working fine for me. I was busy with school, but I'll probably put out a new version after new years since I need to fix another bug as well.

Recently updated to v8.40.83. Now all I can get it to display is MM G15 v1.3a. I restarted everything and still no joy. It's like it's not picking up the .ini file. Running Windows 8 64bit and MM_G15 x64.exe

Thanks for your time. 8)

This may have been covered in this topic at one point or another, but I just got one of these nifty boards and I'm a lazy reader, so... lol.

Anyway, I noticed that if a value is unknown (in this case, the Album field), it will use the value of the previous track that was displayed. Any chance of fixing this, or is this a MM/Logitech issue?
Awaiting for 10160 & 10168 to be fixed/implemented before thinking of moving to MMW4.1 + MMA.
