I've not been able to replicate it. What skin are you using?

I am using "Metro" skin. MetroMonkey skin for Monkey Rok.
I will try a different one to see if things changes.

No. It is the same thing with all skins... biographies roll down as the are loaded and, when the end is reached, rolls-up back and desappears living only the rest of the fields visible. The problem is specific with all boigraphies panel.

Skins and extensions are all new to me, but I just set up Track8 and downloaded their skin for MR and for some reason MR seems to be looking for the skin under skins\classic instead of skins\Track8.

If I renamed the Track8 folder to classic everything works fine.

Any ideas would could be going on?

Hi. I'm new to all this. I thought I had an idea of how media monkey and scripts worked, but when I tried to install Monkey Rok, a pop=up appeared on media monkey that said "unable to install." When I looked at the extensions, it Monkey Rok was there, but it didn't appear in the interface. I tried installing 6.1, then 5.0 and 5.1, but none of them worked. Am I supposed to install all the previous versions? And I already asked this in the Lyric Timer thread, but I can't find the Lyric Timer download on your website. Sorry if I got any terms wrong.

Hi, your website seems to be messing up. Homepage shows but all script links show a blank page. Tried IE and FF, both showed same problem. Thanks

@adrianp - You need to select the MR skin that you are using in the settings for MR.

@Guest - I'm not sure why it wouldn't install - try running MM as administrator first and see if that fixes it.

@thedaffyduck - Ah yes, it looks like my site is having some issues - I'll get onto my web host about it.

Monkey-Rok Problem - Please help!!

Post by Trev1 »

I x-ed out (top right ) of all the panels of Monkey-rok by a mistake.

Now, I just have the External panels (top tracks, etc.) but not the Album Art for the now playing, plus all the associated stats.

How can I get this back please?

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Monkeyrok but the problem prevails :(
The missing info seems to appear for a split second and then dissapear..

Please help !! thanks very much

It's better to post help for a script in the script's thread. Having said that, you need to look in the options sheets to re-enable the panels.

Not really, I don't have a copy of MM on this computer. But it's Tools > Options > MonkeyRok settings. One of those options sheets, probably the second or third, has a whole section for which panels to hide. You'll need to uncheck all the ones you want to see, if I remember correctly.

Blank window

When I first launch Media Monkey, I get the ActiveX warning. After that, the library statistics display. As soon as I play a song, the window turns blank. I enabled the debug log, but it doesn't say much:

"SongID=-1" indicates that the song you are playing is not in the database. Maybe you are playing songs directly from the "My Computer" node or a device node?
