New version (6.0) is now available to download from my website. Changes include...

- Removed incomplete translations
- Amended translations to trim whitespace
- Fixed German translation (thanks to Aff)
- Added Italian translation (thanks to San Marc)
- Added Dutch translation (thanks to Peter_K)

- Fixed album thumbnails ignoring display mode

I would like to know if there's a way to save the artist biography in order to be shown in MonkeyRok panel when you play music offline

No at the moment, but I'll look at adding some sort of caching mechanism in the next version.

I've still not managed to replicate this, but I've added some extra debug messages throughout this section of the code, so hopefully we can use the new version to determine what is going wrong. tried to send you an email, but not having had your acknowledgement of receipt...
just to let you know a few things...

1: thank for add extra info <Lyricist> option

2: I found a way to make sure that the panels of the current album, of albums by artists, albums featuring by artist, ecc. show always the front cover as thumbnails (that was the thing that I was looking for...)
in practice, I solved it modifying the SkinFunctions.vbs script by adding as first statement in the Function FormatAlbumHeader this: displaymode = 1

for update the album cover for each track individually I solved, as I already said, deleting these lines from the script Functions.vbs:
2839 If albumid > 0 Then
2840 Set pics = track.Album.AlbumArt
2841 End If

It does not appear that these changes affect the rest of the script, it works best for me...
What do you think?

3: trying the new version of monkeyRok and I noticed that some sentence is not translated due to the presence of unwanted spaces in any statement in the MonkeyRok.vbs scripts, I solved it deleting them...

4: another request if possible.. an option to hide/show play info (info_played and info_lastplayed) on the second settings panel...

I end up with post the Italian version updated and my first experiment of skin (normal e tab version)...

Thanks for the update... Unfortunately the problem below still exists.

I just bought a new laptop going from 1280x800 to 1920x1080 screen and I notice that Monkeyrok displays every album art with a border that takes up a 1/4 of the cover.

Here's a screenshot (cover art open simultaneously - left: album art opened via MM; right: album art opened via Monkeyrok):

Now, here's the source from a 1000x1000px cover:

Is the 800x800 W:H necessary? Also for a 500x500px cover, the source says width='400' height='400'.

I'm glad to have finally found this; after quite a deal of looking I ended up with a non-native mm solution that's OK, but I like this better being a native mm script.

Having said that, I can't get it to install.. Win 7 UAC kicks in, I OK that, then it pops up an mm dialog saying Monkey Rok has not been installed.

I'm running Win7 SP1 and mm 4.0.7.1511, standard version.

I'm experiencing the exact same problem as above posted by emueyes. Tried installing the 5.5 from your website and received the same error.

Any advice on installing this extension?

Try running MM as administrator first, so that the UAC is not an issue. Or you can install it for just the current user, instead of all users, I think that avoids the UAC issue as well.

I really like the similar Artist Panel from your mighty MR skript,
would it not be nice to have a matching Artist % filter in the option menu,
so we could delimit the search results .

Actual I'm working on a new MR skin ,and can't find a way to give the Albums panels a different color background,
they use all the same object (.album_header)

maybe i miss something , can you give me a hint ,
but i suspect this have to be code in the MR script !
I don't know if I'm right , but it would be great if you can help / do something on this.

Well, Similar Artists results (panels/boxes) use the same object as the albums where appear when you click on an Similar Artist box,( 2 Albums under Jackie Mittoo)
I think this should be better separated (optical) to make it more clear .
To use a different color for one off these objects is just an idea,
maybe this can be made better with some other hacks !?
