My MM version is 3.2.4.1304.

I don't want to update some of my software because of extensions/plugins, because devs are too lazy to update their work.
I don't want to have half of my plugins broken because of a useless update that will bring me nothing else than troubles.

So, my MM was not updated, neither my MonkeyRok. It stopped working suddently, with no reason. I want this reason, I want a fix.

I don't understand what you mean. I don't want to update and I didn't, and MonkeyRok didn't update alone (as far as I know).

So I have a version of MonkeyRok supposed to work with the version of MM I have, and it does not work suddently. Why?

If you are on a Windows machine, I have experienced times when Internet Explorer updates have messed things up in MR even though I have not done any udpates. It is my understanding that MR has some IE dependencies so that may be why it no longer works for you. Just guessing though.

I think you are right. I change something in IE to avoid the message about activating the ActivX at MM start.
But resetting all the default parameters don't fix it. :-? I'm stuck.

Do a search on the forum, there is a fix for the activex errors. I think there might be one in this topic but it's been a while so I am unsure where it is located, but I know it is on one of Trixmoto's scripts.

The image in the album list displays correctly.

I am running MediaMonkey 4.0.0.1377 and MonkeyRok 5.6.
I am still having this problem with MonkeyRok artwork set to "All" when a track only has a front cover.
If I set the artwork mode to "Front" it will open up the cover correctly when I click on it.

OK.
I think I have found the problem.

It appears that Windows Media Player has added crappy artwork to my MP3 tracks without asking even though I have everything unselected under the "Library" settings.
I have since deleted all the crappy artwork from the folders, but they are still in the MP3 tags.

How can I easily clean up all the redundant artwork in my MP3 tags? The entries are called Folder.jpg. There may even be some AlbumArtSmall.jpg entries in the tags, but I haven't found any yet.

Edit: I have now made a new thread about this in the help section of the forum here.

You can use the Album Art Tagger script.

Thanks.
I know nothing about what it does, but I will give it a try.

Greetings

Hi Trixmoto , i work on a new skin and want to display the word "Album :" in front of the current Album title,
but somehow i just can bring it above to display :-?
I'm just don't know if it's possible and when how ?
looks like this:
Image
and here is the code:

Code: Select all

Album :
<div id="current_album_title"></div>
</div>
i try different variations ,but with no luck.
i need a hint from a more knowing expert .
and is it possible to show the album name without the Artist behind it ?

If you want to change the way that the album title is displayed (by adding a prefix and not displaying the artist) then you might need to change line 2332 in "Functions.vbs", maybe to something like this...

Code: Select all

ele.innerHTML = "Album : "&cursong.AlbumName
Obviously the problem with this is that it's not a skin change, but a script change. I can't see any other way of doing it at the moment though.
Download my scripts at my own MediaMonkey fansite.
All the code for my website and scripts is safely backed up immediately and for free using Dropbox.

Thanks Trix ,it works , :)
to sad that this is a global change and not Skin relative.

Is there any chance to bring "Album : " in front of the "Current Album Title" by modify the skin.html file?
like i wrote above ,i just can bring it to display above the Album title.
