Thank you for this script, as the threshold time is perfect for how I tend to expect adding new entries to the "most recent played" autoplaylist.

Is that threshold time counting elapsed play time for each track - regardless of Pauses? And, does switching between tracks automatically reset the counter with each new track selection+play, essentially?

I didn't know that MediaMonkey scripts could update this internal track property - does the script hook into something akin to a "Play" event?

Thank you Wader. I'm glad you like the script.

Yes. The script uses a timer and Pauses have no effect on play time. Alas it's only possible to stop the timer, not to pause it. I think that implementing elapsed play time would make the script too complicated and can rise errors.

How it works:
  • Track begins to play.
  • The script intercepts the Play event and starts the Timer (from value set in the Options).
  • On Timer end, it increases track's PlayCounter and modify its LastPlayed date. It also adds that entry in PlayHistory database.
  • Since MediaMonkey does the same when track reached the end, the script decreases PlayCounter and delete previous PlayHistory entry.
Other useful scripts:

Thanks, can track my listening habits better now!

Is there any way to have this work with last.fm scrobbler so I you don't have to play the whole track to scrobble?

Still one of my most loved addons. Thank you so much for this!

Do not understand why such a simple function isn't included.

I was told about this addon because in watching videos a lot of the time you don't really want to watch the credits .. over and over :D So this addon is great. the image below shows the details of the series 'The Twilight Zone'.

I started watching season #5 yesterday and stacked eps 121-130 and let MMW play through them.

At the time it appeared that 'last played' was getting set. but this AM they do not appear to be there. Because the date stamp wasn't there (so i didn't know the last one i watched) I started with ep 129 (as you can see) then forwarded to the next and finally settled on 131. And watched it all the way through .. along with 132-138 currently. But note that some of the 'last date' are not showing.

Also, this addon doesn't work with MMW running as a service. Is there anyway to make that happen?

Also it appears that the addon messes with the Played# column. When I remove the addon and place multiple eps in now playing it goes through them and updates 'Last Played' and 'Played#' columns correctly.
