The install of LMS directly on my computer did seem to work properly with MonkeySqueeze.
Have completely uninstalled again. Will wait for the NAS to grind away doing its rescan of the music folder, and then will try your other suggestions.
Perhaps its something to do with the way I'm playing files in MM? I don't use playlists, have never seen the point. I have been just playing the files from the library. Does it make a difference if I go the folder tree and play the files from the My Computer...node as opposed to the Library node?
Thanks again for all the time and effort you put into this!
Cheesemonger wrote:My upgrade to 7.7.1 seems to have done the trick. There still seems to be a lot of activity in the status bar in MM with 'synchronising playlists', and I've only tried a couple of track, but so far so good. Fingers crossed, and I'll keep you posted!

Petronius wrote:Hi there,
Your addons is fabulous and it works very well with my Squeezebox Touch. However, I find that it does not fully support Unicode. Some of my songs are named in Vietnamese, and when I play them on MediaMonkey, the playlist is not relayed to Touch. If I rename them to, say, A.flac or Try this name.mp3, it works. I am wondering if you can fix this in the next update.

I am using the latest version of Media Monkey.
My music is stored on a synology (Linux) NAS.
I use Squezebox Server via synology disk station, I also have LMS installed on my pc.
All the settings should be fine, Monkeysqueze still doesn't work. Any idea?
LMS on the Synology NAS should work. No need to use the version of LMS on your PC. Please read all the instructions in the User Guide if you already have not done so.
As per the previous post, please pay special attention to the following instructions:
Please read the "3. Music/Media Folders" and "4. LMS on a Linux NAS" sections in the user guide, quick instructions below:
1. Go to the MonkeySqueeze Options page
2. Go to the "LMS on a Linux NAS" section
3. Select Enable
4. If using Squeezebox Server prior to v7.5.1 then select the appropriate box, if not leave it blank.
5. Enter the address of the music library on the Synology as used by MediaMonkey. eg: X:\Music (Mapped drive)
6. Go to the LMS Web Page > Server Settings > Basic Settings > Music Folder and copy the address of the music folder, e.g. /media/Music. Enter the address of the music library in the LMS section.
7. Click OK and it should work
Let me know how you get on.

I experience the following problem using MediaMonkey Remote (Android):
When I load a album on my Samsung Galaxy SIII it appears on Mediamonkey on my laptop (and syncs with Squeezebox webapplication) but it looses connection with every song. But it loads the playlist anyway (takes some time) and it plays. so far so good I guess...
When I load a second album additional to the playlist from the previous album it loads instandly on Mediamonkey but it does not sync with the Sqeezebox server.
What happens then is when I go to song 1 on the second album it plays song 1 from the first album, because it didn't sync the second album with Squeezebox...
I also experience some freeze of the application going from one song to another and back with MediaMonkey Remote
Can anybody help me?
