Re: Cue Reader 5.2 [MM2+3]
Maybe, I don't understand this, BUT why should run time use of the CueReader require "connecting to MM".Jackie78 wrote:olafbj wrote: ... - this is all the script is doing, connecting to MM."
I have the CueReader script installed.
When I try to play a FLAC album the has a Cue file, the problem is one of timeout.
If I dont' respond very quickly to the Interet Explorer dialog box: "An ActiveX control on this page ... do you want to allow this interaction"
then I don't get the CueReader list of tracks.
I need a way for the timeout to be increase (seems like maybe 1 second now),
or even better a way to always just pop up the list of tracks WITHOUT THE NEED FOR ANY USER INTERACTION!!!
BTW this is XP-Prof SP3.
CueReader is great script, but spoiled with these niggling issues.
If CueReader interactions with IE cannot be fixed, are there other alternatives?
Maybe at import time, automaticallysplit into separate FLAC files, so that from that point forward MM interaction is same as for all other FLAC tracks?
Hope someone can and will respond.
Keep up the good work, here.

This is not a problem with the script, this is a problem with your IE settings.

Wonderful. I particularly like the new styleSheet CueReader.css color configuration capability.
Thank you Trix.

BUG: Cue Reader 5.3 [MM2+3]
Hello trixmoto,
I updated to 5.3 of your CueReader yesterday.
If I reorganize a set of MP3s by using Ctrl+R a VBScript-Error is displayed. It says:
Error #500 - Runtime error in Microsoft VBScript
Variable not defined: 'ecue'
File: CueReader.vbs, Line 941, Column 4
Please fix it.

Oh dear, yes - if you open a text editor and find line 941 which is...
...and replace it with...
Some dodgy global replace on my part!
Code: Select all
mp3f = ecue = song.Path
Code: Select all
mp3f = itm.Path
