Hi,

you have to uncheck the DVD Part in this Release. The track "Louisiana Bayou" is the 8. track on DVD.
You should always match the tracks of the release and your selected tracks, if the Tagger shows the warning "There are different numbers of tracks !".

Please post it here if my answer helps or if you need more information!

Thanks for looking at this.
Thank you for reporting the error. There was a typing error in the track-numbering of this release, "34-" instead of "3-4" . I corrected it at discogs. Now you should be able to tag your album. ;)

If not, please leave a message here, thank you!

Auto tag from web ignores track ids and changes order!

Hello,

I have been trying to update the info of mp3 files that have filenames like this "01. Track 1.mp3" and track number set as "01,02, etc".
The album info is provided and found on the discog DB. The problem is that the matching of the tracks is short of random.. Track 01 is changed to 22, 10 -> 02, 18 -> 09, etc with no way to fix it, just cancel it..

Disable Track# in Discogs.

Discogs Tagger 5.5.5

When I use the latest Discogs Tagger the tagging works OK but I get a series of scripting errors such as:-
Error executing script event.
Access violation at address 648A5713 in module 'mscript.ocx'. Read of address 00000009
Error executing script event.
Object required: 'SDB.Tools.WebSearch.NewTracks'

I also find I cannot run certain other applications after this occurs and cannot log out or shutdown Windows (7) - I must use the power button.

Can anyone help?

Hi,

did you used MediaMonkey and Discogs Tagger without error before? Which Windows Version you use ? Is your Computer new or have you reinstalled it ?

You wrote that tagging works OK, but you get a series of Scripting Errors. So the Discogs Tagger wrote the tags, but you get after that the errors?
Please send me the file c:\users\username\appdata\roaming\mediamonkey\scripts\discogs_script.log to Sven(at)germanc64.de, thank you !

There is no option to select Discogs in this update.

I tried uninstalling and re-installing in MM run as Admin'.

Using Win 7.

Please Start MM normal and install the addon again. Do you see the Musicbrainz Tagger?

Just installed 5.56.
For some reason, there is no "Artist", only "Album artist"

Thats right. You see the Artist in the list on the right side.
I removed the Artist on the left side, New user could be confused, i thought. :)

You can see it, but, if I remember correctly - I've reinstalled 5.54, and will probably stick with it to infinity :-) - you can't use it to update the Artist tag.

This change doesn't seem to be a good one. With it, there's no option to have discogs fill in the artist field, if we wanted, but worst of all, there's no way to fill in disc or track # (maybe because I had these option off by default?).
I personally liked the old system: you can select if you want to update these fields or not. I agree that the overall design might be a little confusing and could use some change, but removing these options aren't the way to go, in my opinion.
