I want a way to test that I am indeed putting out a bit perfect signal.
Please don't just say if I'm using WASAPI in exclusive mode I am. There has got to be a way to test it.
And WASAPI in exclusive mode doesn't work for me. I'm using ASIO4 ALL but that doesn't supply the needed ASIO.dll for MEDIAMONKEY so I had to use another ASIO.dll.(out_asio(x64)_071)
I have a ASUS XONAR HDAV 1.3 DLX, Windows 7/64 bit using HDMI out to a Pioneer Elite SC-27 going to a set of exceptional Klipsch La Scala's. And the default sound device is speakers, ASUS XONAR DLX.
Some sites say to play a DTS file but MM 4 doesn't have a DTS plug-in to work. Foobar does, ARRRggggggg.

Re: medimonkey bit perfect test
I suppose you could record MM's output and compare it with the original file. But that seems like a lot of work.
