New version (5.4) is now available to download from my website. I've added the output path to the delete old backups option. I've also changed the way that folders are deleted to hopefully avoid the "permission denied" error message.
Download my scripts at my own MediaMonkey fansite.

The download link for 5.4 still points to 5.3.

Just installed 5.4 successfully. Now I'm getting "Error happened during script execution: Unknown name."

Was working just fine before new install. Any thoughts? Yes, I installed as administrator.

Exit & Restart MM. You probably have Right Click for Scripts installed.

I do have Right Click for Scripts installed. Exited and restarted. Same problem.

I've not changed anything that could have caused that rrfpacker, could you could try uninstalling 5.4 and installing 5.3 and see if it goes away. If so then I'll definitely try to investigate further.

What is being deleted here, is it the old archives and the backups or just the backups? What happened to the option to only delete a certain amount of the archives only?

AFAIK this affects the deletion of the temporary folder used to contain the files for zip backup.
The keep option is still in the Backup Options sheet.

If this works like the previous few versions, it would be deleting actual backups down to the specified count but the description leads me to believe it is deleting the files/folders of the original backups not the zipped version of the backups, which is not something that I wish it to do. So I would like confirmation so that I can decide whether to move forward or stay with 5.3 because I only wish for it to keep a specified amount of zipped backups and retain all of my unzipped backups.

Working fine for me. I have my configured last 30 backup zip files and have automatically run the script 3 times since installing 5.4.

It is working as expected for me too. I have all of the previous month's archives intact after running Backup 5.4

The script will now start to delete the output path as well as the archives, but no output paths created with 5.3 will be deleted because they are not stored in the database to delete. Are you saying you'd prefer there to be two separate options, one to control deletion of output paths and one to control the deletion of archives?
