You need 2.5.2.948 (RC-2) as some of the methods are only available in 2.5.2 (therefore 2.5.1 is too old!)

Sweet I will check it out! :D

Also, as an FYI, this week I have been running with the "no same artist" set to 10000 (yes 10k, approx 1 week) minutes with no (apparent) issues and happily not hearing the same songs so often!

I have a very large collection, so I do not worry about running out of available songs to play... 8)

The rating check seems to be working mostly, however I noticed I just got 4 songs in a row under my rated preference (2.5).

In fact, it looped the same songs (i skipped ahead before the last played updated)...

how do you want it - 2pac
get in my car - 50 cent

Edit:

I also happened to get a couple un-rated tracks added when I have them disabled in the scrobblerdj options.

Rating check is still in dev. that means not tested and not implemented, so I would like to see if config is clear enough for use or it needs some improvements?

@Teknojnky,
Warning check is OK with you?

Settings page looks fine, I didnt have any time outs today that I noticed, but I have the warning unchecked so I wouldnt have noticed if I would have had one. :)

Is there any way to have Scrobbler save the playlist it has created as it is being played? For example, let's say I play music for 1 hour with MM/Scrobbler and I really like the mix of songs that were played and want to copy those same songs from my library to my iPod. I would like to have the ability to take the play list of songs I just listened to and copy those songs/playlist to my iPod.

Thoughts?

Thanks.

Just select played songs and D&D to iPod (Manual Sync).

You can save the now playing list as a playlist if you want a more permanent save of it.

From the now playing window > list > save playlist

Then you can sync or replay the list at any time.

Hello there. After several unsuccesful attempts, new SrobbleDj is here. Still because the all new feature "Rating Control" seems to be a bit heavy i am releasing this as a beta. Plz post any problems or comments regarding this new feature...

version 1.25 beta

Additions
  1. Added "Rating Control"
Tired of listening low rated tracks? Do you want scrobbler to only play rated tracks? Do you want Scrobbler to only play unrated tracks so you can have a chance to rate them? All these are now possible using rating control
    • If you want ScrobblerDJ to only play rated tracks, disable the "Include uknown rating" option and select a rating from the drop down (except none)
    • If you want ScrobblerDJ to only play unrated tracks, just select "None" from the drop down list
    • If you want ScrobblerDJ to play tracks with rating higher than 3 stars, but also play unrated tracks, select 3 stars from drop down and enable "Include unknown rating"
    • If you want ScrobblerDJ to play ALL of your tracks select "Any" at drop down and enable "Include unknown rating"
  2. Added right click menu to set a playlist as the default ScrobblerDJ playlist.
Right Click on the playlist select Send To >> Set ScrobblerDJ playlist

I've installed this script, and it doesn't seem to do anything? It's enabled in the options menu, but it just plays in a continuous order..

Is there somthing I'm doing wrong?

@Guest - this script chooses a new song when the last song in the Now Playing list is played. To use the script play a single "seed" track and this script will continue to pick related songs.

Great...a new version.... :-)

i found an error: Cint types are not compatyble, line 15 column 3. or something like that...will post back if need exact text.

the error was happening cause i played a song that didn't have a rating and i hadnt moved the options. there i had:

Selected Rating: Any
Include Unknown Rating: [Unchecked]

so i got the error, which was solved checking Include Unknown Rating.

not a big deal, but not nice either...

thanks again psy for this script...love it!!!
