Autoplaylist from an addon node?

Post by Jimmymgb »

Is it possible to create an autoplaylist from an addon node?

Specifically what I'm trying to do is use the fantastic functionality in the "play history and stats addon" with an auto playlist to do things like use the "Top 100's - Artists node to generate an auto playlist of all tracks by artists that sit between 50 and 100 on the Top 100 list.

Alternatively if it is possible to recreate the equivalent of the "Top 100's - Artists" list using an autoplaylist I can work with that. But so far I cant find a way in the autoplaylist sort order to sort artists by total number of times played for all their tracks that gives results equivalent to the Top 100 list.

Any advice gratefully received!

Cheers

It's possible but possible in the sense that it could be implemented via code in the addon. Not possible in the sense of you (the user) doing some trick to make the node into a playlist.

In this specific case I'm sure you could create this node using the MagicNodes addon which does allow a MagicNode to be created as a playlist.
