Yes. I'm guessing its a bug in Chrome. Thanks for the update.

Hi,

I only started using MM over the weekend and it is a very impressive piece of kit, especially the awesome addons. Thanks for putting so much time into this, particularly Trix.

I'm confused though and would like some direction before I unleash Album Art Tagger on my collection.

Basically I need to embed my album art which is currently stored with the album files within the album folder.

My setup is like this:

Artist\Album\folder.jpg, with tracks stored, Artist\Album\trackname.mp4

I would like to keep the folder.jpg files where they are also to play nice with my Media Browser front-end.

I figure I would select option 2

Is it <path>\folder.jpg I would select rather than the default <path>\<album>? I don't really understand the concept of a mask despite reading the first 20pages of this thread. I'm quite slow :)

I would then select [Embed in tag] from the dropdown and leave [JPG,GIF<PNG] alone. None of the tick boxes at the bottom seem applicable. Is that all okay?

Thanks again. It's a wonderful community you have here.

Thanks, I'm glad you like my scripts. :)

If all your images are "folder.jpg" then you want a mask of "<path>\folder" and only need the filetype list of be "JPG". Otherwise the default options will probably be ok for you, especially showing the confirmation screen, then you can double check before you make any changes.

Could you add a feature to Tag every song in the album the same (so no inconsistency?)
Cheers

If you have this option ticked on the properties screen then MM will do this automatically.

Select the entire album --> right click --> Properties --> Album Art tab --> check "apply to all selected tracks" in the lower-left corner --> do what you need to do --> hit Ok.

I hope that helps.

As I already explained in the other post:
Dreadlau wrote:1)Enable the album art panel. Set it to "album art (selected)"

2)Go in details view

3)select a song and right click on the AA panel --> edit AA properties

In the properties window you have 2 arrows at the bottom to navigate across the tracks contained in the album.
Navigate to a track that as the right album art.

Make sure "apply to all tracks on the album" is checked.

Make your changes an press ok.

Oh right, my bad. I was explaining how to do it without the script, and that is probably of no use to you.
Thanks Dreadlau.

not sure if this has been covered or if it s possible but...

in my library there are are many albums that have multiple covers such as an alternate or that have leaflet pages / illustrations embedded into the mp3. is there any way to extract any images besides that of the first cover? If not could this script be made to do that?

For example if there are multiple images embedded in the mp3 tagged as cover i need them extracted to the folder as [album].jpg, [album 2].jpg, etc

and if they are tagged as leaflet page or illustration i need to extract them to the folder as leaflet.jpg, leaflet 2.jpg, etc

thanks in advance ....

only way i know might work would be to go in to the properties of the song.
go to the album art tab.
and change one at a time to the name of cover and move it up to the top then try and save it that way?

you could also try going to the main mediamonkey options panel and find the option for saving the artwork.
and then check the option to also save in to a folder? it might when you scan for more art save to the folder you put
then all the art in the file?

as for this script doing that i'm not sure it might? but i think trixmoto would know more. 8)

thanks for the response, but at this point though there's over 3000 albums in my library i was hoping to pull those covers out without having to look at every one of them. yeah maybe trix might be able to figure a way for his script to do this.
