DLNA only shows 36 files maximum

Postby joe81 » Mon Mar 26, 2012 4:20 am

Hi there,

I am using the free version of mm as a client for my Panasonic PVR via DLNA.
However at any one time it will only show 36 files. I can only get to the rest of my recordings if I delete some of the ones that are being picked up by mm off of my PVR. The maximum it will show is always 36.

Does anyone know why this is?

Would mm Gold solve this problem?

Thanks any help much appreciated.

Joey

Have you checked if the same happens with other DLNA Servers (thus indicating it's a problem on Panasonics side)?

Yes I have checked.
Windows Media Player works fine. Shows all the files. It's just that WMP doesn't let you copy the videos to your HDD.
Wheareas MM does.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

So WMP to Panasonic shows all files? In that case sebd a debug log (step 4b) to support: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=69

I have downloaded the debug application but when it says:

Execute MediaMonkey_Debug.exe and try to reproduce the bug with a small set of Tracks.

What does that mean?

Install the debug version and then launch MediaMonkey as normal.

It will be fixed as http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=9481 in the next version of MediaMonkey.

36 Files only read from Panasonic

Postby GordonElliott » Fri Jan 04, 2013 3:39 pm

Hello moderator,

I have just joined and would like some help please as I am something of a Newcomer to this.

I am running windows XP Home version SP3.

Installed MM 4.0.7.1511 (Free) and I can successfully connect to my Panasonic Bluray recorder type DMR-BS880EBK.

However, it will only read 36 files and I have something like 75 on the drive. I can download the files to my PC quite happily as I need them.

I have read in the Forum that other people have had this problem and that also it that has been resolved in this version.

So could you advise me please as to what steps I can take to resolve this problem. If you need further information I will be glad to supply and also if you need any diagnostics to be run then I can do that also.

Thanks in advance.

Gordon
