No album art with DLNA to Onkyo tx-nr809

Postby trevw » Tue Apr 10, 2012 4:15 pm

Hi,

I've done quite a bit of searching online generally and in these forums. I've found things that sound similar but are referred to as fixed. Are there things I should check or settings I can try that might help? I have tried with artwork as files and tag data, my music is in .flac format which streams fine but the av receiver does not display the album art on screen.

Any thoughts welcome.

best regards

Have you tried any other server software to verify that the onkyo supports album art display over dlna?

I can confirm that I get album art correctly through DLNA with J. River Media Center but not with Media Monkey (I have a TX-NR709). Special characters are also funky via MM and not JRMC. For example, Keb' Mo' shows as Keb' Mo' when served up by MM.

I just tried the new Beta release and the album art problem seems to be fixed. The special character issue still exists, though.

Edit: Well, upon further testing, cover art seems to work intermittently with the new Beta.

Debug logs (step 4b) send to support are most helpful in trying to resolve these issues: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=69
