Just for kicks i tested again.

1 started mma
2 played song then paused it
3 pressed back button to get back to home screen
4 went to settings
5 went to apps
6 selected running apps
7 watched for 1 minute mma exited completey



Test 2

1 started song by mma's widget
2 paused song
3 went to settings then apps then running apps.
4 watched for 3 minutes
5 mma only closed 1 service and had 1 app & 1 service that will not close.

Have you tried to reproduce after restart of device?

Thanks--I'm able to replicate by initiating/pausing playback via the widget.

Okay thanks rusty, you must have seen my mad post i was typing. I changed it to this nice post thanks for keeping me on santas nice list.

On Galaxy Tab 2, Android 4.06, I just restarted the device and have not run the MM app. However, Running Applications showed "1 process and 1 service" when I first got to the screen, briefly flickered to what looked like "1 process and 3 services", and is now "2 processes and 1 service." (Also showing WinAmp, 1 process and 1 service.)

I have MMW 4.07 running at the moment, not the 4.1beta, if that makes a difference.

Fixed on my android with version .80
