[REQ] View albums by... [MMA v2.0]

Post by chemacky »

Really surprised this isn't an option already considering how in depth MM for windows is.

But you really should be able to sort albums (or tracks or whatever) by date/date added/name/anything else in the tags.

Hi,
You can set sub sorts by press and hold CTRL while Selecting Columns (by title)

Bump.

I've seen a few people request this sort of feature without response.

Is there any plans to include something like this in the future? It's frustrating to have MMA just for sync and to have to use other media players for most of my playback because searching through my catalogue of music in alphabetical order only is a real pain.

As MMA is starting to be more stable it is more likely that we will work on features like this which were on To-Do but with lower priority

Sorting is on the to do list for MM 2.0 (which will include a UI revamp).
