Audio drops in left speaker when i get notifications

When my phone is connected to bluetooth and I'm listening to music through MMA...the volume drops in the left speaker of my car when I get a notification from Twitter or SMS, etc. The volume remains low until a new song starts and then the audio in the left speaker starts at normal levels. Then, once another notificaiton comes through my phone, the volume drops in the left speaker again. It only happens with MMA. It doesn't occur with GPM, Stitcher or any other audio app. It's very strange.

Any help is appreciated.

Which version of MMA and Android and what device?


Note there is an option to mute notifications in the MediaMonkey options.

"Suppress notification sounds" is checked.

I see that there was an update to MMA today (Aug 3 2018). Does the update address this bug?

UPDATE: So this error affects all bluetooth usage. And, it goes beyond the fact that notifications cause the behavior.

When I'm listening to MM for Android on my Cowin bluetooth headphones and hit PAUSE on the app,, the audio in the left channel completely drops out for the remainder of the song. When the next track starts, I have audio in both channels (sides). Again, when I hit pause, volume drops completely out of left side.

Please help with this or let me know what information you need to further research the issue. This is really annoying and makes MMA completely unusable/unlistenable. Thanks.

P.S. This doesn't happen with other audio apps (GPM, Stitcher, etc.)

Start to check if the device has updates, that may solve it already.

If not send a debug log from About when you experience a problem and open a Support Ticket with the logID.
