Equalizer No Longer Works

I am using version 3.2.5.1306.

I'm using Windows 8.

I change and add new equalizers a lot and have never had problems before. Now, when I adjusted the equalizer, there was absolutely no change in sound. I tried several different presets and everything is exactly the same. I tried restarting MM, restarting the computer, disabling equalization and turning it back on, and unplugging my stereo system from the laptop. Equalizers just don't work. I can see the menu just fine. This is not a problem I've encountered before. Any help is appreciated.

Try to change output plugins, but best would be that you upgrade to MMW 4.x which have lots of playback improvements including EQ.
