Removing Files and Playlists from MMA

Post by tbmatthews »

Where does MMA store its database for managing files and playlists?

I have a ton of ghost files/songs and playlists on my Samsung Galaxy S7 that I can't figure out how to remove. I have selected my library folders (on SD card) under settings, granted access to the folders, and "Checked for new/changed media" and nothing changes. I have removed MMA from my phone, deleted all remaining MediaMokey Folders and files (that I could find), reinstalled and reset my library folders and I still have all the ghost files/playlists. Any suggestions where I am going wrong?

Not sure if it helps, but I also have recently installed "Pi Music Player" to avoid the issues I'm having with MMA. Pi does not seem to be showing up with all these ghost files and playlists.

Hi,
Can you please send LOG file from MMA about dialog and write down log ID here so that we can check it?

When you sync MMA/MMW, make sure to enable ('Delete copies of unselected content')--that'll cause the sync operation to delete any content that may have been synced in duplicate in the past.
