With a few artists the overlapping tiles do not show all the album art yet when dropping down to album view the art is showing. I've tried deleting the albums from MMA, removing the art and reinstalling in MMW before resyncing but the problem remains. How might I be able to resolve this? It isn't a major problem but a little irritating.

Which versions of MMW and MMA are you using (there were some artwork-related regressions fixed in the latest MMA beta [build 732 which should be used with MMW 4.1.18.1851+]) ?

If you're already on the latest betas: Are you syncing via USB or Wi-Fi ? Is the Album Art downloaded via MMW or MMA? Are there any unique characteristics about the albums that are missing artwork (e.g. compilation albums? missing Album Name or Album Artist name? etc.)?

fyi, another user of the latest betas is experiencing a similar problem at http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... 88440--but we're having trouble replicating this consistently. If you're also using the betas, it would be helpful if you could share a debug log right after syncing.

I'm using 4.1.17.1840 (MMW) and 1.3.1.0723 (MMA). I seem to have sorted the problem for most of the missing artworks at artist and album artist level by deleting the albums from MMA, going into MMW and deleting the artworks there before retagging artwork from the internet. I normally select option to add to track tags AND download a copy to the file but in retagging I have not included the download to file option and this seems to have worked. Resync and the artwork is now showing on those albums. A bit strange though that this problem has only been apparent with a few albums.

Glad that it's resolved for you, though I suggest updating to 4.1.18 (currently beta).

If anyone else experiences the issue, please provide detailed info (see my previous post) so that we clearly understand the cause.

To fix this issue completely, please force complete wifi sync:

1. Go to options and click "Check for new/changed media"
2. Start Wifi sync

I have the same problem. This happens for all album artists that contains a comma.

I use the latest betas of MMW and MMA and syncing via wifi. Album art is in album folders on the PC and named folder.jpg. Album art is always missing when the album artist has a comma (e.g. Cohen, Leonard) when browsing Album Artists.

I'm testing this out with MMA 736 (beta) vs MMW 4.1.19.1859 (just released) and can't replicate.

Here's how I tested:
1) tag TrackA/AlbumA, TrackB/AlbumB with a comma in Artist, Album Artist
2) For track A save artwork to the tag, for track B save artwork to the folder
3) Add the two tracks to to PlaylistX and add PlaylistX to the sync list.
4) Wifi sync
--> artwork appears for both tracks/albums!

Could it be that the artwork is missing because of this issue?
