Cannot add external media to library

Hi everyone.

Using the latest version of Mediamonkey from the play store on a marshmellow based car stereo. It installs fine, however I can only add to my library from the internal memory. If I try using a USB key or an SD card, I can play the files from file manager, and see and play the files from browsing the folder option in MM, however adding folders in the library options does nothing. MM does not see any files to add to the library there. Is there any way I can fix this easily?

If you use MMA Folders Icon can you browse and play files from USB/SDCard?

Also how for example ES File Explorer see the storage?
