Is there a way to have it store all the files on the sd card and not use up internal storage. Can't find a setting or how to do it. Help please.

Yes, each memory has its own Device Profile and setup. So disable (or deselect all sync content) for the internal memory and then setup the Device Profile for the external SD memory (either in MMA or MMW).
