Best Linux Alternative?

Post by metallic_green_bee »

I just made the switch to Linux and my god I miss MediaMonkey! I'm currently using Amarok but it just doesn't quite cut it! Does anybody have any recommendations for an alternative player before (IF) MM releases a Linux version?

You could try MM 3.0 under WINE, It uses SQL Lite so Access MDB is not problem anymore.

ill try this and get back to you sometime. i did try an older version on Fedora 6 with wine. it was generally a pain in the ass cause MM saves data all over the place(the my music folder...)

i am now using ubuntu on a dual boot ill see if this works sometimes.

amarok is nice(second best player i have ever used)

SQL lite is good news(this should make the search actually useable right?)
