Keeping hardrives upto date

hey guys i have two hardrives to maintain one is my brothers and the other is my own, every three months or so i would like to update his harddrive with the new music that i have downloaded. So what i am looking for is a script or a piece of software that can scan the music folder on my harddrive and compare it with his and make the adjustments i.e. deleting folders, add new files, etc. This would be done from one laptop but across two hardrives. Let me know guys as this would be a great help
