Strange behavior when I plug in my iPod Shuffle [#14058]

First, the iPod Shuffle shows up as two devices.

Second the music (which was originally loaded using MMW4) only shows up if the device was plugged in prior to launching MMW5. If MMW5 is launched first the device gets its little check mark but no music is present.

And the problem is even worse. After I was able to add some music to the iPod Shuffle using MMW5 2061 I found I was unable to get the iPod Shuffle to even play music. I had to plug the iPod Shuffle into a friends laptop that had iTunes (in an attempt to do a factory reset - did not work) but after detaching the iPod Shuffle it started working again. Weird.

The only problem now is the music I added does not have a Playlist associated with it (pretty important when using the shuffle). I added music just as I had always added music using MMW4 and playlists were transfered.
