Disable "Now Playing" background pictures & always on top?

How do I disable this background pictures feature? I don't want to look at random pictures when playing music (yes, some of the pictures are truly random and have nothing to do with the band or music in general). I want to see the list of songs like in MM4.

Also, why is MM5 always on top by default? How to disable that as well?

It's known bug (see here).

The Now Playing view is under development, this is just a concept. The plan is both to support a better choice of pictures and also to support more layouts, so that everyone can choose (and develop own through add-ons).
