MM5 Doesn't Remove Deleted Tracks

MM5 Doesn't Remove Deleted Tracks
One thing that I have consistently noticed is that MM5 doesn't detect deleted tracks from the monitored folder(s) even though I have the File Monitor set to remove unavailable items. I have to go into the MediaMonkey Library and manually remove any tracks that I have deleted from the monitored folder(s).
Re: MM5 Doesn't Remove Deleted Tracks
Do they show in Dead links?
If Not, can you please create Debug log and Attach to Support ticket?

In Media tree select Music/Files To Edit/Dead Links.

Yes, they show in Dead Links.
It's just that I have to remove them from the Library manually.

Re: MM5 Doesn't Remove Deleted Tracks
Hi,
Hmmm... Lets test the theory and get to bottom of this.
Here are the steps:
0. Set remove unavailable tracks in Library
1. Create Folder c:\Monitor Test
2. Add 10 tracks into folder
3. Scan the folder Set monitoring (Both Continuous and on Startup)
4. Close MM5
5. Delete 1 track
6. start MM5
7. MM5 Should remove track
If fail go to Folder and initiate manual rescan.
If that still fail we have a bug found
8. close MM5
9. Delete another track and add to more tracks so that folder again have 10 tracks
10. Start MM5
11. should contain 10 tracks in that folder.
Let me know at what point it fails for you as for me MM5 behaves exactly as steps describe and in step 11 I have 10 tracks.
