magic nodes?

Hi,

I just installed latest version of MM5 in a wine bottle on openSUSE Tumbleweed.
Seems to run fine, besides a few unexpected crashes.

Two questions, though:

• What exact prerequesites are necessary for MM5 (fonts, runtimes, ...)?

• In MM4 we had magic nodes as an extension. I saw, that in MM5 one can define collections based on certain criteria, but I couldn't find anything to modify the tree - for example to list albums in the form "<year> - <album name>". Is there any setting to achieve this?

MM5 is still in late Beta stage, but still in beta stage. That means it is not receiving full public coverage. It is great that MM55 is running on

Plugins like MagicNodes needs to be rewritten as MM5 is step closer to multi-platform application and most plugins and custom third party scripts are not available.

You can try to modify AllNodes Script from sample folder.

Further to what Peke said, the author of MagicNodes has said elsewhere, that he is not going to rewrite his app for the new MM5 environment.

If you have any specific requirements, you are best to plead the case here, because other help may not arriving any time soon.

Sorry, perhaps I didn't express myself correctly.
I don't want to get MagicNodes back, I wanted to know, if there is a setting/feature in MM5 itself to set the album tree like "<year> - <album name>".
