Spotify

Post by Linkowich » Wed Aug 19, 2009 5:24 am

I use two music players today, Mediamonkey and Spotify. Mediamonkey for my own mp3-library, and Spotify for its huge (and constantly growing) catalogue of streamed content and playlist features.

Spotify supplies a code library called libspotify - a C API package that will allow third party developers to write applications that utilize the Spotify music streaming service.

If Mediamonkey could play Spotify streamed content, it would be the ultimate player. So - is there any way this feature could be included in Mediamonkey, or as a plugin?

Any coders out there who are up to the challenge? :P

I've added this to my ever expanding list of scripts to have a go at. :)
Download my scripts at my own MediaMonkey fansite.
All the code for my website and scripts is safely backed up immediately and for free using Dropbox.
