If you have not got any other music in your database you can't mix it up. If I have to work with 3-5 different set of music within one database it get's complicated.. I know when I go for DJ-ing and I have to use ONLY DJ-ing set of my music. Same when working at home to put together new CD compilations and working only with them..
Then, I don't know if you DJ, but you have to keep things simple... There are lot of more things to think about than configuring filter, searchmode,... correctly. Especially when everything has go fast..
And as I pointed out - I think a huge a performance issue..
As we are discussing here - also in MM4 there is a huge problem with autoplaylists taking forever to load..

Sometimes I have to wait for over a minute while MM seems to freeze and then come up with a result.. On MM3 I started to look for other organizing software because of that.. So if there is a possibility to get the database small lean and fast - this is defenitely a huge advantage!
