Tiled Tabs

Hi,
I am doing some maintenance on my collection and I would like the ability to tile my tabs either vertically or horizontal. Similar to how you can tile Spreadsheets in Excel. What I'm doing is this:
I receive DVD's of MP3's from an internet radio station I belong to (irock109) and I need to search my collection to see if I have the song and if I do, is it the same version as mine and if so, is my version a better quality. I then determine which songs to keep and which ones to delete.

Flipping back and forth between tabs is slow and cumbersome.

Finding duplicates doesn't work as I have 100's of songs with different versions.

If you have another solution, I'm all ears.
