Lyrics plugin incorporated by default

Postby ASD » Sat Jul 07, 2012 7:52 am

Hi everybody!

I really love Media Monkey, but there is a thing that I wish to be added in: a lirycs plugin that can automattically search lyrics by web and shows them into the player.

For Window media player and iTunes there is the lyrics plugin http://www.lyricsplugin.com/

that make you able to show lyrics directly into the player like that:

I think this is a great function to introduce by default in the next releases, and I really hope that you could add it as soon as possible.

Thanks and good work for the future!

MM already has some automatic lyrics plugins, like Minilyrics:

You can install the Minilyrics embedder which will put the minilyrics window directly into the MM interface:

Yes, I already know that and I've already try it.

But I don't think is as good as Lyrics plugin for WMP: the lyric view depends by another software, and sometimes the plugin don't works really good. It' not as simple and immediate as lyricsplugin.com's one.

I think that a plugin that open the Lyric in a new tab of MediaMonkey is really better, Maybe you can try to modify the lyricsplugin.com's lyrics plugin version for Winamp to adapt it to mediamonkey (actually this version is not compatible with mediamonkey).

I don't see much of a difference, you say that it "depends by another software", but that's the same case for your lyrics plugin.

Anyway, Minilyrics works great for me, I don't know what you mean that its not "really good".
